Questions before you book?
Everything you need to know about a session at Harmonia —
and what to expect from the moment you book.
Q: Which massage should I book?
You don’t need to know. Vitor shapes every session around
what your body needs on the day — whatever the booking type.
If you’re unsure, start with Remedial Massage and tell Vitor
what’s going on when you arrive. He’ll take it from there.
One service. One price. No guesswork required.
Q: Do I need a referral to book?
No referral is needed. You can book directly online at any time.
If you’ve been referred by a GP, physio or specialist — you’re
welcome here. Bring any relevant notes if you have them,
but it’s not required.
Q: I’ve never had a remedial massage before. What should I expect?
A conversation first — Vitor will ask what’s been happening,
what you’ve tried, and what you’d like support with.
Then a brief assessment — movement and strength tests —
so the treatment is precise and shaped around what your
body actually needs on the day.
Your intake form is sent automatically by email as soon as
you book — so the session can start without delay.
At the end, personalised movement guidance so you leave with practical tools, not just a booking receipt.
Q: Should I eat before my appointment?
Avoid a heavy meal in the hour before your session.
Light food is fine. Staying hydrated beforehand and
after your session is helpful.
Q: What should I wear?
Something comfortable. Vitor will explain what’s needed
for your treatment and will always work respectfully with
your comfort and privacy in mind.
Q: Is remedial massage painful?
It shouldn’t feel like something you have to endure.
Some areas may feel tender — especially where tension
has built up over time. That’s normal and expected.
Vitor will always work within your comfort level and
adjust pressure where needed. If something doesn’t feel
right, say so. The goal is relief, not endurance.
Q: How much does a session cost?
$120 for 60 minutes. No add-ons, no hidden extras.
Health fund rebates may apply — see below.
Q: How is remedial massage different from relaxation massage?
Relaxation massage helps the body unwind in the moment.
Remedial massage works with the patterns driving tension
or pain — so the relief is deeper and tends to last longer.
Both have real value. The difference is in the goal:
one is about rest, the other is about change.
Q: How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what’s going on. Most people notice a real
shift after one or two sessions. For patterns that have been
building over months or years, three to five sessions often
creates a change that holds.
Vitor will give you an honest sense of what to expect
after your first visit — never more than you need.
Q: How often should I book?
For pain or tension that’s been building, many people find
that booking every two to three weeks creates meaningful
and lasting change. For general maintenance and wellbeing,
once a month is a common rhythm.
Vitor will suggest a rhythm that suits you and your body
— not a schedule designed to fill his diary
Q: Will the results last?
Many people find that the benefits from remedial massage
build over time — especially when combined with the
stretching guidance from each session.
Lasting results come from addressing the pattern, not just
the symptom. That’s what Vitor works toward from the first visit.
